I'm Steven Rhodes, a primary school teacher with 20 years of experience spanning London, international schools, and now Yorkshire. Over my career, I've developed a teaching philosophy centred on two core beliefs.

Firstly, I strongly advocate for providing children with opportunities to work through problems independently. This approach, I've found, builds resilience and cultivates a positive mindset towards learning – skills I consider essential for success both in and out of the classroom.

Secondly, I've observed that teachers often work far more hours than they should, frequently sacrificing personal time to create engaging, high-quality resources.

Through Succeedu, I offer carefully crafted Maths and English resources that promote student independence while saving teachers valuable time. My long-term vision includes developing a web application aimed at revolutionising resource creation. Currently, I'm focused on growing Succeedu with the goal of raising funds to bring this innovative app to life in the future.

My approach combines support for independent learning with effective use of assessment for learning techniques. I believe this combination is key to fostering student progress and confidence. By providing students with tools to understand their position in the learning journey and identify their next steps, we create an environment of continuous improvement.

My goal with Succeedu is twofold: to create classrooms full of confident, independent learners, and to help teachers reclaim their personal time. I invite you to join me in this effort to enhance education – for the benefit of both students and teachers.
